Ancient Football

In 1869, Rutgers beat Princeton 6-2 in the first organized football game. This however was not the first football-like game ever played. Not even close.
China played games long before NCAA or the NFL. In 476 BC, Chinese Military played a game to train soldiers. If you could fight while dribbling a ball with your feet, then fighting would be a piece of cake. The emperor thought this game was pretty fun and entertaining, so he decided to play it (minus the fighting with swords). When the nobles saw what their leader was doing, they figured it must have beeen pretty fun. Others saw peasants doing this and tried it themselves. Soon a new sport was sweeping the land.
